Maybe if the ECU is reprogrammed and modded to let the driver have more aggressive control.

No amount of advanced computers and electronics can compensate for human ingenuity for being a damn ass. You take someone else's car and decide to blaze it out on a joy ride?!!!

I would have drive that like it's made of bone china.

With a car that has a limiter governed by GPS, I'm sure it has telemetry logged on board that'll show exactly how fast the car was going when it crashed. Probably the G forces as well.

kjaglal, why you say it doesn't have to pay the owner? Just because the owner may have left the car in his care doesn't mean he can take it out at his leisure and play with it with devastating consequences. If you lent me your car, I can't go and smash it up and give you back the keys and say, "Ooops sorry, it's a hard luck.".

Insurance breaks from having to pay out for a Wingroad, you really think they'll be happy to shell out for a GTR just so? They'll want to pass the buck to the driver or the owner and have them pay for it.
