For PNM ppl gas cheaper in town, u think they want to use up they lil gas to pass carion bridge.

since I pay UNC gas price I took a drive and the hospital is NOT open nor it it ready to accept any patients or even fully equipped so what exactly did the PM open and continues to boast about?

That's exactly why you avoided my question repeatedly, the PM opened and non-opened not fully equipped or functional hospital, you're 10 mins away take a drive nah see if the security will let you in to macco, they do sometimes

Any government suggesting loans during this impending oil & gas recession is setting us up for years of hardship. Rowley beginning to look like the new Ferdinand Marcos.

Rapid rail may have it's benefits but it's certainly not worth it. The impact in traffic will be marginal at best as most people who drive will continue to do so. It's mainly the traveling public who will be using it.....which means we'll be replacing PTSC and maxi's with a rapid rail......thus still needing more roads, interchanges and expanded highways.

The project plan I saw a few months ago, showed a phased opening involving getting some critical services up and running first, then combined with recruiting and training new staff (yes some will be foreign) bring services and sections operational in-service in phases over 2 to 3 years I believe.

And like all politricking, things have to look good and impressive at launch.

What he said was that being a member of the IDB for years gives us access to financing on favorable terms...and if it made sense they would do it.

And what are your feelings on the Deficits that were run up over the last 4 years????
The increase in Debt to GDP that took place over the last 5 years???

The rapid rail will have to be followed with measures to make owning/using a car less attractive -
Greater taxes on purchase
More stringent ownership covenants
Yearly Road fees
Capping road building so that traffic jams makes a car user willing to want to switch to public transport

Consider a Suzuki Scross is US$80,000 in Singapore, a Qashqai around US$110,000.
Are those cars really that costly - no. But taxes are put in place to ensure people use the MRT in front of purchasing cars.
