Again,

My position remains.....the Govt should confront and deal with all the issues raised in a public ,fair ,accurate and transparent manner.

At the end of that process we will know whether what the data supported real truth is....and we use that to inform the decisions on the hway.

It could stay right where it is...if that is the best route...

Citizens 4d hway....is a special interest group ....just like the HRM...their claims might be valid.

I say let's find out. Once and for all

A friend of mine came across some documents a few weeks ago, in the company that she works for.
The documents were from WK and they basically quoted the prices for various types of protest action.
There was even a price for a hunger strike.

This man isn't doing this for the environment or for the people.
He is doing it for money. He is a protestor for hire.

I guess Kubs realize the majority not studying him with this 8-4 hunger strike, so he check in the hospital. People would feel sorry for him and attend the protest where before, it would have just been a few people.

Let's wait and see.

Oh the stupidity of some people. So this political sycophant decides that he may go on a "counter hunger strike" if Kublalsingh doesn't end his hunger strike by Tuesday. How exactly does one do this? by taking tips from the members of the government who have grown morbidly obese in the past 4 and a half years?

Is this his way of showing his loyalty to the party and his political mettle so that he can be invited on the platform next year? What a fool, this statement reeks of more desperation that Kublalsingh's actions, and is a big political gimmick designed to garner attention to Maharaj so that he can get a pat on the back from the UNC heirarchy.

"In addition to Gandhi, various others have used the hunger strike option during the Indian independence movement. Such figures include Jatin Das (who fasted to death) and Bhagat Singh. It was only on the 116th day of their fast, on October 5, 1929 that Bhagat Singh and Dutt gave up their strike (surpassing the 97 day world record for hunger strikes which was set by an Irish revolutionary). During this hunger strike that lasted 116 days and ended with the British succumbing to his wishes, he gained much popularity"

Tell them - people fail to realise that a hunger strike is only partly physical, it also encompasses mental, spiritual and emotional facets which when combined push determined people beyond the limits imposed by western science and medicine.

Man must call he bluff...

So lemme get this straight:

- So far he did a 26 Day, 8-4, weekends off hunger strike at the OPM.
- He was going to the beach to take a swim
- He collapse
- He reach St Clair Medical of all places
- So happen the HRM was going to have a gathering at Nelson Mandela Park... literally a stones throw away from St Clair Medical.
- Now the gathering have more numbers and more attention to Kubz

Well the PM going to meet him now so lemmeh hear what he will do.

steups

Why you injecting logic and fact to a thread that was doing so well without being saddled with either?

^^^^^^

It's a pity that so many tuner threads which start off with logic and fact quickly degenerate into mudslinging, immaturity and political bias. It seems that many tuners can't treat with an issue on it's own. I suppose its because so many of them hide behind an avatar and username; they believe their anonymity liberates them from the burden of intelligent and impartial conversation.
