As expected, the forecast and adverse weather alert have been verified, with strong thunderstorms currently affecting portions of Eastern and Northern Trinidad, after earlier affecting parts of South and Central Trinidad.

Gusty winds, heavy to violent rainfall rates, and street or flash flooding are likely in areas prone, as this activity continues to move north to northwest.

The Adverse Weather Alert remains in effect through 4 PM today.
