Time is flying and it is getting big.

Her mom took her up to the high perch to get a view of all that surrounds it.

Next week we hope to complete the larger enclosure so that Storm and Noelle would have more room to explore and perfect their hunting techniques.

The wild is calling and Storm will answer that call in a few months.

Local Petrotrin ~ Family Nature Trail Walk 2015

As part of the Company's HSE Week activities, the Family Nature Trail Walk was held on May 02, 2015.

Approximately 95 Petrotrin employees and their dependents participated in this event including Petrotrin President Khalid Hassanali and Manager Port & Marine (Ag.) Colin Piper.

The hour-long walk began and ended at the Pointe-a-Pierre Club Car Park and covered a distance of roughly 4.98km

Local Tobago ~ Scarborough Library


The recently opened Scarborough Library Facility is the first in the Caribbean to have specialty self-service laptop kiosk stations.

The service, which was developed and installed by the American based company LaptopsAnytime, was officially launched on Monday.

The two kiosks at the library each securely store, recharge, wipe, clean and dispense six laptops to accommodate on- demand usage at the library.

LaptopsAnytime CEO, Mr Matt Buscher stated that the company was excited to have the Scarborough Library as the first installation in the Caribbean.

The CEO applauded the initiative for the library’s innovative approach to incorporating technology into their facility.

Head of Tobago Library Services, Helen Johnson said the service is in keeping with the Tobago Library’s mandate to be the leading provider of information on the island.

The two kiosks are located in the James Biggart Adult Library and the Young Adult Library within the facility.

Patrons in possession of a library card can borrow a laptop for two hour periods within the library.

This heritage day will be in Honor of the Merikin People of African decent.

The event is free, will include live performances and food that has African origin.
