Is there anything like an extension for a ratchet set with a joint like this in it?

Also those crescent wrenches that tighten with the press of a button any good?

The knipex is the best, after usng one of those there is no way you will use a crescent or slip joint pliers

knipex is super sweet and super expensive yes...i saw them in home depot last year and when i saw the price....i settled for the irwin version yes...15USd for the 8 and 10" pack... never really put them through any pace but they did fell a few times and the button tingy still works fine

http://www.amazon.com/Irwin-Industrial- ... int+pliers

remember there is the straight jaw and the "clamshell" jaw so know what type you want as well

What's the difference between straight jaw and clamshell? Dumb question

I saw an ad on TV sometime back with a normal crescent that has a button to press and it tightens. Basically I need something durable to adjust as quick as possible to hold a back up. Time is a constraint and I need these things done as quick as I can when I'm doing it.

The joint for the ratchet I need to be as close to the socket as possible as its some tight places it needs to work.

Tight spaces is a need for smaller tools. I almost never use 1/2 drive sockets and power handles again unless it's for suspension work.

Smaller tools can't fit.
Ratchet works but limited movements with an extension that can't bend.
The swivel (thanks black start) will allow me some flexibility....make that a lot of flexibility.

Link online to those flexible ratchet extension? I'll see what reviews I find.
Looks very interesting

Edit, nah. Found it, I prefer something that comes without a socket.
Have to use all different sockets because is all different kind of nuts I does meet.

Get an impact rated joint as it will take much more torque, however only bend by about 45 degrees.

The adjustable wrench with the press button business has a history of falling apart when used in a professional environment.

I have this in 1/2". It can take a pounding. Can be used on lug nuts.
