I doubt this protest is going anywhere
The protest against overtaking behind the safety car has already been dismissed

I’m getting a bad feeling about this… hope the result stands.. Masi to Toto “it’s called motor racing”, one of the highlights of today

yes!

FIA found themselves not guilty of anything.

It's up to the courts now to decide.

Yes it was a late call, but that’s racing.
FIA screwed the pooch here.

Why only allow the cars between Lewis and Max to unlap?

Why call in the SC immediately after, not even waiting for the cars to go around and to rejoin the pack as is done every time.

Mike Masi should be fired.

Breaking - stewards dismiss both of Mercedes protests.

Update - Mercedes have lodged their intention to appeal the stewards decision to dismiss the protests

Crazy to think Merc came with a QC to the event.
Crazier to think RBR knew the decision at Lap 1 was a farce, but accepted and moved on.
Says alot about the two teams.

I personally believe the call was right to restart, but the lapped cars should have been let go much earlier. Stewards response to initial protest was quite clear and will be hard to dispute.

Alex Ferguson and Jean Todt - two of the greatest team managers of all time - both said decisions even themselves out over the course of a season. Think back to Silverstone, Hungary and even lap 1 today, and I guess that's what we've seen.

That whole lot of stewards plus Masi need replacing though.

It's like they said, the championship wasn't won in Abu Dhabi, it was won over the season where many calls were made in Merc's favour. Verstappen was the faster racer this season.

Lewis Hamilton knighted

Seven-times F1 world champion honoured at Windsor Castle
Hamilton becomes only fourth GP driver to receive knighthood

Lewis Hamilton is now Sir Lewis Hamilton after being knighted in recognition of a glittering career in Formula One just days after he controversially lost out on a record eighth title. Britain’s former world champion was honoured by the Prince of Wales during a Windsor Castle investiture ceremony on Wednesday.

Wheel covers look ugly but if they allow for better racing then I'm not going to complain.

MP4-22/23 are better looking than the Brawn imo and all have wheel covers.

Grooved tires were a bit meh tho.
