any1 else think they should play the David Rudder version of the windies anthem, instead of the guy who sounding like he constipated, heard him this morning and it was depressing.

would be ah buss if Ireland beats us...just saying...From what I am seeing so far it seems like the windies have underestimated Ireland and are too laid back in the field and in the bowling......they need to step up the game before ireland gives us a shocker....

good bowling performance, although i think they gave away about 15-20 runs too much.

I am not enjoying this match due to the impact of rains.
The performance of the WI team has not been what I hoped for, since the bowling seems a little unsettled.
Based on what I have seen thus far,raw pace and bounce doesn't seem to be working and I would much prefer less short pitched bouncey deliveries.
The short game in my view is better dealt with greater emphasis on fuller well lined deliveries with variation of pace on the deliveries. With a lack of pace the batsmen have to place a lot more focus on generating power to get the ball away.
I would have liked to see Badrie given an opportunity in this game opening the balling with a pace baller on the other end. This would have provided us a look see at how he applies himself and put on the table an option that fixs the lack of pace scenario.
Really based on the performances of India,Pakistan and other favourites if we serve up what has been on offer thus far,it is reasonable to assume the WI ain't going to farewell in the super 8's.

u all eh find WI bowling looks very ordinary?
even the irish were able to hit a few 6's and make it look quite easy
as well as having to call gayle to bowl....

the bowling surely needs to step up for the next rounds
maybe badre should play in place of russel or rampaul

The games the WI has played so far have been so badly affected by rain that the lack of a proper opportunity to get acclimatised to the tempo of this competition and to give everybody a good run is probably going to hurt.
The guys on the team need to refocus and apply more thinking and resolve rather than brute force.
Less high and more resolve always works,Chris Gayle will not always 'come to the party' especially when the more experienced attacks bowl to his weakness with the ball swinging into him.
