and the price was 15 to 20 k plus another 20 k to licence

close enough but it still goes to show that anything over 10K for those cars is crazy, too bad nobody saw the need to do a "blue book" type valuation for vehicles down here. Imagine 30K-40k 15 years ago+ wear and tear/ increased mileage/misc damages=30k-45k today
