Good day y'all...some help here,if you get in an accident and the other person is deemed wrong by the police because he hit from behind...he wants to compensate thru insurance,he has 3rd party but my car is fully comprehensive but the policy is on my father's name and the accident happened with me driving (my name not on insurance policy) will that cause any problems thus causing me to fix my own car or will his insurance go thru and compensate me even though (his insurance is with gulf) ? thanks in advance ppl (y)

Ask your Dawdee.

If you're not named on the policy but were driving with the permission of the owner (Dawdee), you are safely covered by insurance if:
1. You're over 25 AND have more than 3 yrs driving exp.
2. You're under 25 but have at least 3 years driving exp.
3. You're under 25 but specific provisions have been paid in advance to cover you as an amateur driver (AKA loading the policy).
NB: If your name not on the policy, it's not loaded.

What is the cost to fix your father's vehicle?

If the cost is less than the excess then your insurance will refer you to the other person's insurance by giving you a coverage letter

If the cost to repair your father's vehicle is a lot more than the excess then your dad's insurance can fix car and then seek to recover funds from the other company afterwards where you will also get to recover the excess paid, loss of use and additional premium (if incurred upon policy renewal).

As mentioned above, your dad's insurance will only come into play only if you over 25 and driving for more than 2 years. If not then your insurance as indicated above will refer you to the other party's insurance.

that looks like he went over the wall into green acres from the south trunk ramp to the cross crossing interchange. talented.

He/she was southbound on the highway. The car flipped and went over the barrier and landed on Cipero Rd.

How these men manage to crash in these ways I'll never know.

The vehicle was on the left lane south bound proceeding at a very high speed tried to overtake on right , applied brakes , lost control pulled to left , back of vehicle came into contact with the cable barriers, veered to left , flipped over metal barrier , missing some people who were surveying @the time , vehicle flipped 4 times b4 i lost a visual .

Macaulay Northbound:
Accident involving an articulating bus and some lesser vehicle.
Bus got hit on drivers side just after the front wheel.
Other vehicle has a demolished front end and sitting in the middle of the north bound lane. Sorry, I didn't get the opportunity to identify it's make.
Bus looks like it took a good hit and is partially on the left lane northbound.
Expect heavy traffic.
No pics, didn't want to join the carnage.
Passed the scene at approximately 5:00am.

2nrs heading South avoid the highway until after Chase Village, there is an accident right on the highway by the flyover involving at least 2 vehicles, a B14 and a panel van, with multiple injuries. Not sure if there are any fatalities.
