I never said anything about couva.

How is the unc using parents, an attorney can't just start to represent someone just so, the person has to agree to representation.

Well here is the former UNC Minister of Health doing an interview saying the situation has been sensationalised by lawyers and the media. He said the healthcare system has not collapsed.

He said a bacterial outbreak was something that happens in NICUs from time to time and it is being sensationalised by neophytes. Unless the PAHO report directly implicates him, I know I as a parent would want the most experienced neonatologist there.

Yea dread, this morning I skimmed through the entire sunday Express and is only about mother's day. First time for me I aint seen no article about CRIME..no killing ..nothing. That says something ..

But I saw something that opened my eyes big ... check the attachments and check the reviews..

Unfortunately I'm bumping this horrific thread because there is an update on my mother in law's case at SFGH.

She was discharged against hospital policy by *can't be named* doctor due to an unexpected influx of patients. She was supposed to pass urine and stool before being discharged while being monitored but a decision was made by said doctor to discharge her.

Lawyer firm's US doctor review stated that the bile poisoning from the botched surgery would have been detected and treated if the hospital followed procedure.

fast forward 2 weeks later, yeah...it gets worse: medical reports show that the levels of monoxodine-like medication was abnormally high based on best practice starting 3 days before her death in the ICU. No explanation given for the abnormal levels by SFGH. Apparently monoxodine is an anti-hypertensive drug.

Cause of death: induced heart attack to make room for other ICU patients

Lawyers charge to date: $0

Reason: case guaranteed

Husband: 60 years
Daughter one: 34 year
Daughter two: 33 years
Son: 20 Years

My GF then and wife now still mourns deeply; they were a very close family. Malpractice, coverup and potential murder is apparently the norm in Trinidad hospitals. The focus is on patient turnover as opposed to their well being (lawyer's words, not mine).

gross negligence i could acknowledge because it has happened many times in these hospitals- but u saying they did it deliberately? might be hard to prove that. some nurse probably was very careless and gave her the wrong dose maybe?
