I rallied with an iphone 6s for a good few years and changed battery in it 3 times

just got a refurb Xs, all day battery is a godsend

that's the key to having a phone as long as possible- having a phone with a removable battery - a lot of phones now are coming with a nonremovable battery so when the battery dies, u have to get a new phone

that's why i bought one with a removable battery - unfortunately it having trouble charging even with a new battery so the port may be bad so i might have to change it anyway but same principle applies

A micro USB port on a phone might not even outlast a battery
They are fairly fragile and end up failing sometimes even before the battery stops taking charge

i carried it to a phone outlet in trinity mall - they tried a new battery in it but when i went back for it it still giving trouble charging- that's why i saying it might be the port- i hope they keep the old battery cuz it might still be good.

Hi all,
Looking for daily phone for casual gaming. Budget is $2000 was either going with a used s8/s9 or a new Poco M3 or X3. What other brands should I consider?

My Xperia XZ1 Compact gonna make 3 years next month. Still looking new and going strong. Will upgrade when I could get a phone this size again (less than a 5 inch screen) with good specs.

I was like you with my Sony Z5 compact. I kept waiting for a new "small" phone to be released before upgrading until five years passed with no luck. Eventually the battery started to swell and I was therefore forced to buy something. I settled on the Xperia 5ii earlier this year.

My 2017 Samsung Galaxy J5 6 is going strong. Paid less than $2k for it which included the screen protector, case and sd card. I may not be a slave to having the latest phone but my vice is being a slave to having the latest cars. :|

I hate all these new curved-corner phones. I like the monolithic joyless look. If only the new Notes weren't Samsungs
