Ah feel a certain tuner in this thread call d special branch to make d special appearance at NOC and NIDCO recently.

WRT what PPG did for Muslims and Hajj, they did what they could, in terms of helping bring the diplomats to issue the Hajj Visas as well as meeting and ensuring everything was on stream. Minister Karim and Baksh at the time especially took interest in it.
This year it seems, roles were switched/changed at MOFA/Tower C and there were some teething issues on Trinidad's end but it all worked out.
I hope that all of the courtesies extended will be continued and all of the discussions for further involvement is upheld under this new administration and it will not be influenced by parties/persons who have zero involvement in this process.

She is a defendant.

Under the last admin Sancho was sport minister while suing the TTFF.

Essentially if she takes action against those she is accusing then they will have a accusation of wrongful dismissal against her.

She just has to wait on EOC to give a verdict and then buss throat.

My understanding is she is the one who complained and took action, therefore NGC must be the defendant.
In the Sancho case, I recall relationship with TTFF appearing to going downhill.
The question is....Is this a remedy for things to get 'crazy' and yield problems as far is effective governance is concerned.Remember is NGC in the mix.

But it will still look like victimization on her part. She should collect her damages (if she wins of course), and pledge to work with them blah blah blah........

Yeah my bad complainant.

If executives in NGC are found to be discriminatory then they should be fired. Oliverre would just for doing that.

Really wish is was this simple!
This kinda situation could end up into a real mess depending on who latches on.
The bottom line is about avoiding things that could frustrate the Govt's ability to speedily address resource management imperatives before things get outa-hand.

She and NGC best sort that sheit out early and quietly. Lawsuits can be dropped after mediation/negotiation.

ok.. ive changed the name of the thread to Govt Affairs...so that all issues arising from, and dealing with the Govt (short of a OMG!!! LOOK DEY JAIL JACK!!! post) will be funneled here.

for example:

http://www.trinidadexpress.com/20150912/news/new-ag-studying-jack-extradition

NEWLY-appointed Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi has until Tuesday to sign the Authority to Proceed in the extradition matter against corruption-accused Jack Warner.

Failure to do so could see the former FIFA vice president walk free when the matter comes up for hearing on September 21 before Chief Magistrate Marcia Ayres-Caesar at the Port of Spain Magistrates' Court.

Legal sources told the Sunday Express that more than likely Al-Rawi will be seeking an extension from the courts to peruse the extradition documents given that the Government has changed.

99% sure Jack will walk free, that was the deal before the election. He did his part and held up his end in doing all he could to bring down Kamla.

Is a divide and conquer scene so the people on top get away with the thieving and corrupt behaviour. Both party have their racism and tribal nepotistic sheit. But when a pack of sheit going on in the country and they trying to cover it up or divert the attention away....people should know.

The problem is the media is hiding alot of this governments misdeeds.

Before elections the media and trade unions when on a rampage against the PP most of which is false.

They did the same with Panday they could tell you what colour jockey shorts he on and on what day.

You hear very little on this government now. Everything is cover up.

Yes. But the media is controlled by a certain limited number of people who call the shots. The media went on a rampage against Manning as well. It is what benefits them the most, not who is in power. They also supported Kamla in the beginning to get away with a certain amount of unjust and unfair sheit. PNM supporters need to open up their eyes and understand what is taking place. Their support is why they getting away with this sheit.

Hadda(gasp!!) agree with zr on this one. Selwyn Ryan, Sunity Maharaj, Keith Subero, Martin Daly all had damning things to say about the last Government, and in some case justifiably so, but you cannot help but notice that all of a sudden Sunity start to move like a human interest reporter, writng about Raf Robertson, Angelo Bissessar etc. Slwyn Ryan still writng about UNC, and his only mention about anything current is a Government support piece about Jwala.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears did it fall?
Is the media hiding PNM misdeeds?
Or are there just less missteps and bacchanal to report?

Very difficult question to answer without bias...by this time in the last administration we already had Reshmi , KPB staying in a financier/contractor house, Pension promise rescinded, missing piano misstep, Warner runway lights contract and more

Thus far its only the Energy Minister begging for pageant funding.....how can we be certain its less missteps or media cover ups?....your call

They are covering up the Forex incident with technicalities about Rambarran being unqualified. They are diverting attention from the main point. They are hiding misdeeds.
