If you say forgot your permit at home, you can/will get a ticket ( at the discretion of Police Officer ).
However if you explain this at your Court date as an oversight etc. the Court will tend to dismiss the case.

cadiz you just as stupid as the fool who doesn't know where to be wheh making a right turn on a two way street.

do proper and indepth research.see what speeds people drive at,ask why, how, if,when. then do proper setting up of rules and regulations. look at japan.there's a counter that lets you see when the light will turn red again.get them install them that way noone can say."boss ah din't know" and even when it changes the other light remains on red. for a second or two to make sure the traffic stops.so when you run the light after all that bet your bottom dollar you getting a ticket.
but nooo.this is the land of oil and music. ah seta asses who rinse out your ears with how educatrd they are.when in truth and in fact.theydotish

Excellent idea. 8-)

Govt will say they need to spend 5 billion to make it happen.

lol, don't have to go as far as Japan for that, Guyana has had those counters for years, plus they use solar powered traffic lights as well. Simple things like these make you wonder if all those Caricom meetings is just another excuse to have a lime in a different location ever so often

I assume this is tunapuna magistrates court the social development office must first see if a person is fit for community service then they submit a report to the courts who on that given day ( the date in March) will allow the individual to proceed with the community if the reports States he is a good candidate for community service and if the report states he Is not the magistrate will give an alternative sentence

I am guilty of having non projector HIDs in headlights and fogs.. I usually drive with the headlight alone but late at night down the highways I will use both lights to make my van well visible.. But once at a stop I usually flick off the headlight to avoid lighting up the whole inside of people car lol.. Would get it retrofitted in time

What i've been saying tho is that---- all we have here to do is party and drink rum, if they put focus on other activities that are easier to gain access to, then we as a people can turn away from the rum drinking culture and be more responsible- the issue isnt the rum- its no responsibility, basically what the government doing is making anyone under upper class status - sheit poor

They're not saying that you can't drink or party. They're saying if you drink don't drive a car after. Is that impossible? Do you have to drive after you drink?

so if police suspects you for being drunk and driving....pulls you over...you get out of the car and then drink some rum....could he charge you for being drunk and driving since he had no evidence of you being drunk AND driving?

You don't seem to understand how it works.

Alcohol that a person drinks shows up in the breath because it gets absorbed from the mouth, throat, stomach and intestines into the bloodstream.
Alcohol is not digested upon absorption, nor chemically changed in the bloodstream. As the blood goes through the lungs, some of the alcohol moves across the membranes of the lung's air sacs (alveoli) into the air, because alcohol will evaporate from a solution -- that is, it is volatile. The concentration of the alcohol in the alveolar air is related to the concentration of the alcohol in the blood. As the alcohol in the alveolar air is exhaled, it can be detected by the breath alcohol testing device. Instead of having to draw a driver's blood to test his alcohol level, an officer can test the driver's breath on the spot and instantly know if there is a reason to arrest the driver.

So rum you drink right then and there would not affect the test. However if you show a positive test and they carry you to the station, the value at the station will be much higher. I wouldn't do it. Might get a higher fine as a result.
