Glad you passed yours Amrit. I went through this about 2 mths ago....nothing like i've ever experienced before...almost passed out when I was waiting to see the doctor (who was in surgery at the time). Took in an IV with some strong muthafcuking painkillers. Doc diagnosed it correctly....did the ultrasound two days later when I ketch mihself...it showed one stone in either kidney. Left kidney stone = 1.1mm, right kidney stone = 1.4mm. I believe at least one has passed so far.

Spoke to a urologist friend after who told me the following:
1. Stay away from dairy, peanuts and red meat;
2. Drink lots of water....2 liters per day should be the target...more on hot days or if engaged in outdoor activities.
3. Apple cider vinegar and a cup of water morning and evening.
4. He recommended a tablet called allopurinol.

Haven't gotten back the pain since thank goodness.
