anyone saw the newspapers 2 of sautt helicopters landed in CIC school compound on FREDRICK ST on Saturday..how did they fit there? :shock: are they bluffing or can it really fit there? :?:
OH norstar2k i also saw the helicopters in formation headed down to POS and back up in the evening..looked sooo cool!!!!!

Landed in CIC huh?! It would be a pretty tight fit. The main rotor diameters on V1 and V2 are 35ft and 32ft respectively so the would have been a sight to see. I can't remember the CIC compound itself, its been a while.

I never have my damn camera when I need it most, so I didn't get a chance to take the pix of the birds in formation.

I dont know the dimensions but its really small from what i heard,i guess their pilots must be really good to land in there. Wish i could see it though,thought you might have some info.

from Nicholas tower see them every day landing on the suatt coumpound near riverside tower i dont think i should take pics of that though

Saw a white helicopter flying around Mid center mall on sunday looks like
9Y DAS can anyone confirm .

it did sum test flights in December. I don't think they have a pilot to fly it but it's supposed to be serviceable and available. If viper1 wasn't the 355 in Gran Couva on fri or sat then it was flyin this weekend

norstar do you remember the type of chopper the regiment used in weed eater?

the only existing physical photo i know of it, is at uwi spec in the D.F. pti office , i'm in that photo.

we took it after the operation.
