I have previously stated that UNC in its current configuration is a sheitshow. That doesn't negate the PNM being fundamentally racist and corrupt. I am not staining my hand for any person that I have no respect for. There are no options available to the citizenry of this country that isn't corrupt , or has the power to make any reasonable amount of change. Our issues as a country go deeper than politics.We try to pacify the issues at hand, but no amount of picong will fix those defects. We as a people are not ready to face our faults and fix them.

I never once stated on tuner who i voting for , i explicity said i not voting UNC for my reasons but there are ppl here who may not vote UNC but never ever for PNM, which is quite fine for me.

The Patriotic Front has clapped back at the United National Congress (UNC) which has nominated a candidate for La Horquetta/Talparo who spent years under the PNM while baselessly trying to label the Patriotic Front as being aligned with the PNM.

A statement says while the Patriotic Front typically refrains from commenting on other parties' candidate selections, it must address the UNC’s decision to nominate the PNM’s La Horquetta/Talparo Constituency Executive Chairman as their candidate for that area.

No he's not, and rowley made this clear.

When Stuart becomes PM on monday, rowley will still remain political leader of the pnm until general elections.

There will be a pnm special convention on September 28th where rowley resigns as political leader and the party then chooses a new pnm leader.

This is also why i think general elections would be held in August. If Stuart Young wins general elections and becomes (an elected) prime minister, all naysayers will get quiet and the pnm membership will obviously stand behind him as the new political leader of the pnm in September. As mentioned here or in the pnm ched, if Stuart looses, the party will turn on Rowley and Stuart where we might see Penny as the new political leader instead in September.

Rowley is staying as political leader to keep potential dissidents within the party in line and protect Stuart all the way to general elections.
