the right decision is not always the favorite.
i have lots of family and friends being directly affected however for the greater economic good of Trinidad the PNM did what had to be done.
Agreed something had to be done...but what I question is was it done the right way?

And being in a temp job for 20 years is a choice.
In life your choices have consequences.

I believe Petrotrin was the enabler/start.
In the interest of the wider national community and given the state of the economy, this seems to be the only viable option going forward and I believe that the patriotism that was shown in the Petrotrin issue will continue to resonate with this wage freeze.
2021 for it, fellow citizens and public servants. Here's hoping inflation and cost of living doesn't change between then and now. Then again, no one is entitled to anything, salary increases included.

This is what kstt referenced.
I was told that the fuel had significant quantities of water.
What confuses me is that established procedure is that the buyer
1) Has entered into a contract to buy XYZ spec of ABC -and the contract states that it be tested free of contaminants (water is a contaminant)
2)Has the right to test while loading
3)Has the right to test before off loading
In ALL cases- the quality and quantity of fuel is verified and confirmed before custody is transferred.
Therefore if the process was followed, its impossible to receive contaminated fuel
kstt wrote:So if I didn't say it failed the tests nobody was going to say?
