which one better in terms of quality, these prices are the lowest I'm willing to go
loving the HiVi but I like the flush mounting Dayton... any other opinions?
another reason I like the HiVi is the rear, it shaped so that sound can just flow around it, I may put it infront a woofer, bad idea?

I did my fair share of research on those Samsung LEDs and I'd say if you want 3d at most affordable price, go with the D6400 series but it will set you back a few thousand TTD more than the D6000 series which is everything from the 6400 in terms of spec minus the 3d tuner.
I choose the Samsung line because they were the best at reproducing colours against namely Sony and Sharp. You do get some backlight bleeding in black scenes but it's minimal, and only occurs in the darkest of shots.
This coupled with a nice matte screen reduces reflections from other light sources (lights, windows etc.)
I also wanted the thinnest LED and again Samsung was the top choice when I was working with my budget.

Sharp 29L-FG1L
the 29" Xflat ones from Court's
cant find a manual online or the one I have home![]()
but the most it can accept is component

I just installed VUDU on the PS3
http://www.vudu.com
There is no subscription: you rent each movie you want for ~US$3.99 or can buy it for US$9.99
There is no waiting, the movie streams instantly and in full 1080p with 5.1 Dolby Digital (I tested it)
Oh and for ppl with 3D TV's it streams HD 3D as well
They have movies as soon as they come out on blu-ray, same day. You can watch trailers for free or watch 2 mins of any movie for free before deciding to rent or buy. Plus they have a huge selection of older movies too from as far back as the 80's
I just sat and giggled at the blow-minded-ness of the whole thing. The quality is superb.
It only works on PS3 and TV's and Blu Ray players that have Vudu built in.
There is a PC app too: Install Boxee and then install the Vudu app for boxee
I may never have to buy another blu-ray disc again!
I'm still in the 30 day trial for Netflix, not sure if to take the lower quality of netflix for all-you-can-watch for a monthly fee, or the no subscription, full HD and 5.1 of Vudu and pay as you watch. I might just keep both!

did you look on Google? the first link is a link for the service manual
http://www.nodevice.com/manual/newmans/upsharp/29LFG1LPDF/get54173.html
that is a tube TV, meaning the resolution is very low, like around 640x480 which is terrible for computer use
it will look like you are using safe mode all the time
at 640x480 your start menu in XP is going to take up half the screen lol

Look at Samsung and Panasonic when buying a TV - they are top of the line today.
Do not look at Samsung and Panasonic when buying a receiver or HTIAB though! lol

Raptor , do you know if that particular model has the Anchor Bay upscaler? Didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the specs on your link, nor on Amazon.
