right now they jackin up the tank and building around the base. look like dey increasin d tank capacity. i suspect they was gonna use it to store gas, not methanol anymore. It's still for methanol storage?

Yup, MeOH stockpile. Those tanks can't be easily converted to store CH4 in any useful pressure or capacity.

good to know. maybe they are expecting a reduction in sales given the way the US is increasing their petrochemical output

I heard that back in the day methanex took that approach with some of their south American plants, and relied on the two plants here, and there is recent talk about shutting down titan to leave atlas to run alone. It was one source then and now, so not sure how true. but seems par the course of the energy industry.

yeh i heard those rumors too. Guess we gotta wait and see.

aside from that, you hear any rumors about an incident on d pt lisas estate last night? my ipsl padnahs not talkin. they say something about 'sworn to secrecy'

It's not a 'typical' tube rupture... A "lil" more happen.
All I will say, is if u like to push tings to the limits, sometimes u exceed those limits.

Reformer damage nothing new with them. I remember few years ago when over a hundred tubes were damaged on M1 plant. Set a crackshots

i wonder how much people gonna get blame for this one now. for sure the whole ops shift might get suspended or worse. dat company cyah afford to do that either since cgcl take some of their best.
