At this point in time, this is the best thing that could have happened for football in T&T.

Hope the Coach took a direct flight to his home town.

It will be tough on the Soca Warriors who won their High Court battle to collect their money
now.... may cause the TTFF to plead bankruptcy.

But Football in T&T has hit a new low, and there is now 7 years to rebuild for 2018.

Only Motor Racing can compete with them for scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The performance of the team hasn't come as a surprise to most of us.
We all hoped for better but deep down expected this.
Unfortunately,we all a taking a long time to realise that mediocrity in most of what we do in our beloved T&T is yielding hellish results.
Everybody need to take note and up our game in our particular area of endeavour if we are to achieve the successes we are damn capable of.
Guyana,is congratulated for their performance and best wishes are extended.
T&T over the years has proven the capacity to bounce back from rock bottom and maybe only when their is a general acceptance by al that we need to collectively set higher non-negotiable standards for everything will the recovery begin.
The last significant recession in the late 70's-80's saw us hit rock bottom and then wake up and got moving only up the ladder in every respect to the amazement of all.

Yeah but is better we don't participate as a footballing nation but that to me is totally unacceptable and high class BS. When have we ever not been able to make it out of the very first round of World Cup qualifying? We may not get past the final stage but we normally get to the Concacaf stage where we are in the final group with the Concacaf heads i.e Mexico, Costa Rica.

and In my opinion, the reason why we continue to falter so badly is because we reward mediocrity to often. Why would you give a bunch of players who came last in their group a million dollars? lol. and Latapy only got like 15 minutes in the whole thing and had more shots on goal than the team for the whole 3 matches. Sad sad state.
