Bulletin#1

Date: Wednesday 16th of September 2015
ISSUED AT:06:55AM

At 5:00am today, Wednesday 16th September,2015 a
trough of low pressure interacting with the
Intertropical Convergence Zone was located just
South-East of the Windward Islands.

The system is moving toward the west at 15km/hr
and would produce cloudy to overcast conditions
with periods of rain and showers, some of these
showers would be moderate to heavy in intensity.
The showery activity associated with this system
is forecasted to affect mainly Trinidad and to a
lesser extent Tobago for the next 4-6 hours.

Rainfall accumulation from this system is expected
to be between 30-35 mm. The showery activity can
yield moderate to severe street or flashy
flooding and strong burst of gusty winds in
excess of 45km/hr especially in thundershowers.
There is also the likelihood of
landslips/landslides in elevated areas.

All interests in Trinidad and Tobago are asked to
monitor the progress of this system and pay close
attention to the information being issued by the
Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service.

WE WISH TO UNDERSCORE THAT TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO IS
NOT UNDER ANY TROPICAL STORM THREAT, WATCH OR
WARNING

I glad tho.

Trinidad has ZERO traffic management and Port of Spain has ZERO evacuation plan. If, God forbid, a true disaster were to occur, we'd be crippled.
