I only eat chicken gyros and Sultans is one of the worse ones Ive eaten. The chicken is too salty and not especially flavourful.

All Gyros are the best Gyros after a few drinks. The Gyro place by Club India is pretty good!

There's a reason HASSAN's have the longest line in trinidad, just saying.
Their standards drop slightly, but they're still #1

Sampled Cheryl's last Friday, ordered the double beef, grilled chicken and the bacon wrapped hot dog. Was not impressed. Lacked flavour and the texture was like a commercially made patty.

Where has a good mushroom burger?

Preferably portabello and not other kinds stuck together with breading and cheese.

Ketchup?! You only talking about the burgers right? Cuz ketchup does not belong on any good gyro.

On a side note. I normally buy my burgers from Grand Bazzar by the place right next to the corn soup place (just left of it). I think it's the third or fourth stall. Cashier is a real pleasant young indian lady.

I normally have their burgers with cheese and slight pepper only. No other sauces needed. Burgers taste good every time I went there (very consistent quality). So far I had the chicken, lamb, quarter pound beef and half pound beef from by them.

Personally, one burger is too little to fill me unless it's the half pound beef. All of their burgers taste great (9/10) but I need a second opinion on the half pounder. I feel like it could use a little more flavour. I'll give the beef a (8/10) but I love beef so it's still my favourite.

WRT sauces having a gyro with Tzaziki sauce (as it supposed to be) and not a mayo based garlic sauce is the real deal. Sadly costs here probably negates that.

In fact having a gyro from an Arab just wrong to start with as gyros are a Greek food and the Lebanese and Syrians would have shawarmas.

Damnit dizzy.... now I must find a place that sells gyros with tzaziki sauce :(

There is an yellow arabian place on Frederick Street in town just north of park street that sells good gyros. They use actually lamb instead of the lamb cone other places use. When I told the lady no ketchup she watch me like I was mad for even suggesting it. Their gyros taste good (7/10) and quality is consistent (6.5-8 out of 10). I think their flavour could use a little more kick.

Caroni Savannah Road has a gyro place next to the traffic lights by Asja (traffic lights just south of the new NP gas station by Pierre Road). Same deal gyros (8/10) with good consistent quality (7-8.25 out of 10). But if you go there just get a large lamb combo (9/10) and their sides taste just as good. I normally have their hummus and baba ganoush.

Does anyone of these places have a pure lamb gyro instead of the lamb/beef cones? After a couple years buying gyros by palmiste park, I was notified the cones contain beef as well. Now the ppl at cross crossing has the "contains beef" on their lamb option. Anywhere worth a lamb only option would be greatly appreciated

The one on Caroni Savannah Road you talking about? I guess I just got lucky them. Only ate there about 4 or 5 times. The one on Frederick street I ate at a lot. But Frederick street uses actual lamb, none of that cone stuff.

Ohhhhhhhh. Lol. Scene.I guess it depends on what you buy from them. Chicken/lamb consistent, beef not so much but I just real like beef and I didn't really try anything else.
