I only have one resin model in my collection right now...don't ever accidentally drop your resin models.....especially if it's a Ferrari worth $1,200 euros :|

I’ve got a few resin models from Ignition. You’re right in that the finish is silky smooth. The only downside is that the ignition models are all static i.e., they don’t have any moving parts and they’re as expensive as heck.

Yeah generally resin models don't have opening doors etc, which is fine by me, as I don't display my models with everything open....looks tacky imo
Biggest downside for me is no engine detail

just for the pics
and dumbass me broke the front wing splitter
also dumbass me got glue on my fingers when I was repairing it and then got glue on the decal on the front lip.....and it damaged a bit of the decal :|

I have 10 resin models. Took them out of their boxes placed them in my display and never touched them again

Yes they are pricey. I only have 3 and like you, I put them on the display shelf and haven’t moved them except to dust them off every now and then. I’ve got the RX-3, a RX-7 FC and a Toyota AE86. Classic Japanese old school.
