Best burger in T&T - 1 x Angus beef + 1 x chicken breast fillet BBQ patties (separated with bacon, hard boiled egg & cheddar cheese slices) with EVERYTHING!!!... incl. iceberg lettuce, grilled (more flavour) veggie slices (tomato, sweet pepper & pineapple etc), etc. on toasted sesame bun... Coming attraction - 28/03/2015

Best commercial burger in T&T so far (26/03/2015).... Burger King Steakhouse burger (with A1 sauce) @ The Falls branch...
1-&-done... too expensive @ $60 (supersized) IMHO... hence the DIY option @ home tomorrow evening. 8-)

Tried Manhattan Grill on Saturday (next to Brooklyn Bar) Stuffed Lamb burger was good, but could be a bit more moist, tried the Goat burger as well - not bad.

Edit: And from the mini discussion above, I should state that the bread was good

I personally stay away from those low end establishments which sells lamb burgers....reason being they use the lamb neck together bread crumbs.

Lamb leg / shoulder is very expensive however these o/s lamb burgers normally sell for approx 45-60 bucks.

Zanzibar's lamb burger ( the best so far I've had ) i believe sells for approx $100.00 plus.

I usually use lamb neck in a regular mirepoix braise, I took out a few pieces after browning the other day and it was actually really nice meat medium.

muscles that move a lot tend to be more flavorful and tough but that don't matter in mince.

Nothing is wrong with lamb neck...it's just the cheapest cut you can buy and there is a peculiar taste to it compared to shoulder / leg.

Actually the neck is what is used as an ingredient to manufacture dog chow believe it or not.

It's just not my cup of tea.

Agree with you on the Lamb burger @ Zanzi, it's the moistest i've ever had locally.

Had the pleasure of trying fried lamb on Sunday, not bad at all.

It's by a bar, the bar is yellow on the outside on the left coming from cunupia. # 307 6386. i normally call and order for pick up. The sign by the road is " TARA'S KITCHEN" it is not a cart.
