SEVEN DEADLY SINS OF THE PNM AT PETROTRIN 2002 TO 2010.
Keith Rowley must answer these issues before pontificating about Petrotrin with his bosom buddy Roget.
1) WORLD GTL SCANDAL
Entered into a Joint Venture with little known company from the USA named World GTL to build a Gas to Liquids plant. This project went bust and cost Petrotrin $3 billion TT dollars. This was under the PNM Cabinet that Rowley was a member of. This plant is now scrap metal.
2) GASOLINE OPTIMIZATION SCANDAL
Entered into cost re-imbursible contracts with Bechtel and a local firm ABT (who them) to do the Gasoline Optimization Programme. The cost ballooned from $350 million US to $1.5 billion US. This was under the PNM Cabinet that Rowley was a member of. This is the subject of a forensic investigation by the AG and civil proceedings have been instituted against Malcolm Jones.
3) SHED OF SHAME NEW HEADQUARTERS SHELL COST $170 MILLION
Started a new headquarters (the shell on the highway) that had to be abandoned. The crab like shell on the highway cost $170 million TT dollars. This was under the PNM Cabinet that Rowley was a member of.
4) DELIBERATELY RUN DOWN TRINMAR
Deliberately ran Trinmar down and stopped drilling and maintenance at Trinmar. This caused oil production to collapse in Trinmar. This was under the PNM Cabinet that Rowley was a member of.
5) CRIPPLED PETROTRIN WITH DEBT
Left Petrotrin in massive debt that has crippled the company. This is approximately $1.7 billion US in debt that now saddles the company. This was under the PNM Cabinet that Rowley was a member of.
6) IGNORED MAINTENANCE AT THE REFINERY
Ignored maintenance and safety at the Refinery for years. From 2002 to 2010 only seven major turnaround executed at the Refinery. This compares to 14 in the last three years under this Government. This was under the PNM Cabinet that Rowley was a member of.
7) SYSTEMATIC DISCRIMINATION “PETROSINGH”
Called the company Petrosingh and proceeded to victimize persons who looked like supporters of the then Opposition UNC. This was under the PNM Cabinet that Rowley was a member of. This is why Rowley thinks Debe isn’t fit for a University campus.

If in 2010 Jack Warner funded to the tune of millions, his own campaign to win the safest seat in the country, was he running as an independent or as the Chairman of the UNC and the Opposition Chief Whip?
If Jack funded his own campaign, then he funded the UNC campaign!
in spite of their ridiculous frequency every 5 minutes!... I await concrete evidence to the contrary from UML et al.
It seems obvious to all... (except the "oh so desperate" UNC apologists) that any payments MADE BY ANYONE were for ALL ads broadcast for the PP (UNC + COP + NJAC + TOP + MSJ)... not just for one party or candidate only!
This seems reasonable, since the other partners (NJAC, TOP & MSJ) couldn't afford separate ad campaigns anyway.Something to think about...Sanctifier wrote:BTW, why is this issue NOT so important to COP (or other) PP supporters... only to those of the UNC?

Oh wait that's still the UNC, COP and TOP. nvm
Rowley must answer if Warner’s son is still a member and supporter of the PNM.
The UNC notes with concern and amusement the statements made by the opposition MP and Political Leader of the ILP, Mr. Jack Warner about his alleged financial assistance to this Party and the Peoples Partnership.
Mr. Warner’s notorious political modus operandi has been characterized by shock-value scandalous allegations and character assassination. This has led to several defamation law suits against him. No doubt many more will be filed in the coming months as he continues and intensifies his malicious political and personal attacks.
Instead of addressing the serious allegations and criminal offences against him, he has targeted the UNC and the PP. The daily revelations about the guilty pleas by his sons and Mr. Chuck Blazer have lowered Mr. Warner into the political and legal quicksand. Mr. Warner’s already diminished political credibility is vanishing before our very eyes. He is the first aspirant to the office of Prime Minister in our political history that will not be able to travel to the USA and UK and many other countries with which we do business. His political career is all but finished.
It is clear that his harangues and rants are now designed to assist the opposition PNM with which he has long forged an alliance via the Round Table coalition led by Dr. Rowley’s PNM. We note the deafening conspicuous silence from the political entities that comprise this group on Mr. Warner’s transgressions and their goading support for his vicious political attacks against the UNC, its political leader and several front-line MPs.
The political relationship between the PNM and the Warner family is well established – see Express article of Dec 13, 2010 “Jack respects son’s PNM decision” and “Give Rowley a chance to lead ” – where Daryan embraced Rowley as his mentor and pledged his support for the PNM.
We therefore wish to ask opposition MP Dr. Rowley whether Warner’s son Daryan Warner who pleaded guilty to a three-count information charging him with wire fraud conspiracy, money laundering conspiracy and the structuring of financial transactions is still a member and supporter of the PNM. We also ask Dr. Rowley to disclose the extent of the financial support from the Warner family to the PNM.
The political dividend and benefit they hope to reap by having Mr. Warner do their dirty work for them is not going to materialize as they cannot bury and shield their political relationship with Mr. Warner whom they embraced after he was asked to resign from the Cabinet of the Peoples Partnership. Indeed, Dr. Rowley and Mr. Warner were seen in intense conversation and in a jovial mood last week at the wedding reception hosted by a prominent contractor. Dr Rowley has become Mr. Warner’s political puppet master and is using him to attack the UNC.
Mr. Warner is hell bent on destroying the UNC and the government because he blames them for his legal problems. The UNC is proud that the government partnered with the United States Department of Justice and the FBI through the Central Authority in fulfillment of its treaty obligations in the interest of international justice. To do otherwise would have been illegal and put the country at grave risk by protecting a wanted man who seems to think that he is above the law.
A drowning man will grasp at any straw. Mr. Warner has painted himself into an extremely difficult legal corner from which it will be very difficult to extricate himself. We wish him well in his upcoming legal battles but support the rule of law and the constitution that is the supreme law of Trinidad and Tobago. The UNC is proud that its leader had the wisdom and fortitude to remove Mr. Warner from her cabinet and sees these recent developments as a vindication of that decision. http://unctt.org/rowley-must-answer-if- ... f-the-pnm/
Jack respects son's PNM decision
Published on Dec 13, 2010, 10:50 pm AST
Works and Transport Minister Jack Warner says the decision of his son, Daryan Warner, to declare his support for the People's National Movement has earned him his (Warner senior's) respect.
Last week Daryan Warner, a businessman, attended a PNM cottage meeting and told the media that he was uncomfortable with some of the developments in the People's Partnership.
Asked yesterday about the decision of his son, Jack Warner, chairman of the United National Congress, said, "Daryan is an individual. I am not Daryan's keeper. He is 42-years-old. I mean he is a young man able to make up his mind and he is free to decide what he wants to do."
Speaking with reporters at the official launch of the new Chaguanas traffic scheme, Warner said his son's political leaning "does not make him less my son and at some point in time I guess that common sense shall prevail".
"I am not letting that worry me and I must confess I admire his honesty to come out and to speak and not hide behind a closed door. But at the end of the day I have to respect him as a young man."http://www.trinidadexpress.com/news/Jack_respects_son_s_PNM_decision-111829299.html

20 million dollar bribe for talk show host?
The more the devil see, the more he wants and some questions for Keith Rowley.
Keith Rowley please clear the air
Did you salivate in a meeting last week with famed former talk show host of IBN television Inshan Ishmael - who you promised million dollar goodies if he bowed when you say bow?
Opposition leader Keith Rowley please say whether or not you promised Inshan 8 more acres of lands adjacent to the bounty (8 acres) he received from the People's Partnership government, if he brought back to life his talk programme "Breaking Barriers?"
Can the opposition leader also confirm if Inshan's task is to nail certain key government ministers into the ground with an avalanche of propaganda and lies over the next two months and then to top it off with a 'get Kamla' at any cost mere weeks before the general election?
Did you also in conjunction/collaboration with a businessman promise to pay the goodly muslim brother Inshan 20 million dollars for his handy work if the PNM were to win the 2015 general elections?
Will the real Keith Rowley please answer up?

Trade Minister Vasant Bharath yesterday defended the Government's decision to purchase 12 vessels from Dutch Damen Shipyards for $1.358 billion for the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard.
During his contribution in the Senate, Bharath said the opposition had ?no moral authority? to criticize the purchase of these vessels given their history of ?botched purchases?.
He listed the ?MV Su? which was bought for $25 million to be used as a water taxi, repaired at a cost of $27 million, and was never used. It is now up for sale as scrap iron for $548,000.
?The MV Su never sailed a day since it was bought,? Bharath said.
Bharath also slammed the previous government for the purchase of four helicopters at a cost of $2.1 billion that proved to be unsuitable for the T&T Air Guard and the controversial blimps that were eventually sold at a severe loss.
He said the Damen vessels are used throughout the region and the US coast guard.
Speaking on the economy, Bharath said the present administration had inherited a weak, fragile and crumbling economy but had turned the tides.
?After a short five-year term, this country has risen like a pheonix out of the ashes,? he said.

To try to pretend not to know is similar to Platinis description of Blatter.
Fo Blatter not to know that the corruption was on going under his supervision means that he was a bad Manager....Blatter is not a bad manager...
Spin it how you want it....having a cabinet minister who is involved with money for influence deals falls on the PM and her cabinet.
If they Fired Mary King for some small time stuff...how do you rationalize them keeping and promoting Jack.
Facts are Facts.
