Same here. Ordered loads of stuff from WS between Black Friday and December 14 and got all of them already. Max transit time from skybox was 3 working days.

I heard it depends on the type of shipping you chose to deliver to skybox. "Free shipping" packages usually takes longer to sort out.

Could almost fly to Miami for that..

Watches are 30% duty so you actually got away, should have been like 1800

So...I decided to try SeaboxTT as their rates looked better. Here is my review:

I ordered a front facing car seat for my son (approximately 28lbs). It was delivered to Seabox's Miami forwarder on December 2. It finally cleared over the weekend (after delays with the vessel leaving and with Customs paperwork). The cost to clear was $480 and was broken down as follows:

Freight - $305
VAT - $150
Service Charge - $25

Prior to this, I was a WebSource customer. I looked back at some of my older invoices and found where I shipped a baby high chair (approximately 50lbs) and the cost breakdown was as follows:

Air Freight Service $ 1,017.36
Fuel Surcharge $ 172.95
Insurance $ 6.48
VAT on Local Handling $ 0.75
Customs Duty $ 50.00
Import VAT $ 45.00

Summary:

1. While Seabox took longer, the price was approximately half of what I expected to pay, when compared with Air Freight

2. I had to go and collect the stuff from Seabox, as deliveries were not possible. I also had to do this with WebSource as well.

3. Updates were received from Seabox via email, and were fairly regular

4. Seabox's Online portal was not regularly updated and couldn't be relied on as a source of accurate tracking information.

I plan to use them again for future shipments. I'll just need to add in an extra 2 weeks from the time the order is placed, to receiving the items in my hands.

Really? couple years ago I bought a monitor and was charged Vat. But with recession next year do you think they gonna put back on tax on these PC parts?

How much did you expect? Were you not aware of VAT and 30% duty?

So transexpress just delivered my Dell S2415H 24 inch monitor, great service it landed yesterday and I got it today. Been using them for more than 5 years now and no issues.

I took a pic I love glossy monitors but they are very hard to find, impossible to find locally aswell. Only option was Amazon.

I will now be selling my S2340L glossy 23 inch dell monitor. The 23 inch was too small anyways.

^ Ooh yeah they are golden headphones true audiophile grade!! has memory foam leather padding very comfortable for on ear cans.

Denon isn't manufacturing them anymore so as opposed to the original $325 US price you can now get them for $150 new on Amazon while it still has. These are on the quality of any $300 US headphone. I use a ASUS Xonar DG sound card to power them, works fine for the price.

Listening to Pink Floyd "Marooned" is pure greatness on these. Same with AC DC etc these sound great for rock. Another thing that makes them expensive is for closed headphones they sound just like open back, you get wider soundstage.

It actually is a huge difference for some reason, has to do with windows DPI and font size, on the 23 inch I always have to lean forward to read something and if I increase the windows DPI size by the smallest increment the screen becomes too small to fit the size of the new panels.

Since this is 23.8 inch I no longer see myself leaning forward or having to adjust the DPI setting. The added bonus is as you can see there is almost 0 bezel on this particular one. My eyes hurt on matte displays, the haze is to much for me so I seek out gloss displays. They are almost impossible to come by. Acer has but its 23" and 27". Hp no longer makes gloss they make something known as "low haze" a half gloss half matte display but not as sweet as true gloss clear coat. Only dell manufactures 24 inch gloss display from my research. I would have kept the 23 incher though but at the deal I got this 0 bezel screen for? nah can't pass it up.

Guys just a lil personal experience. I ordered 5 packages on dec 15. Received all yesterday dec 22. I find that aeropost is a bit expensive, paid 800 to clear. All small packages, baby stuff, toys etc. But i must say i guess its worth it as i never encounter any of the issues that some of u are faced with. Never had lost packages, unexplained delays, shitty customer service in the years i been with them. Wanted to switch due to price, but seeing the comments, i think ill stick with them for a while.

I ordered some toys and a laptop. Delivered to CSF warehouse in Miami since Dec 2nd. I still have not received these items to date... Very disappointed with the slow service, busy phone lines and no updates as to expected delivery times. I was looking for these things for Christmas.
