I notice the ground was half full. Guyana too did not have sold out crowds for WI. Sad that Trinidad only got 1 WI game and we're the only country where it's been a sell out. Can't see this happening in another country hosting the world cup and doing well.

Every game in TT will sell out, no one seems to have the appetite for cricket like us.
Trinidadian cricket fans are as fickle as everybody else. We barely filled half the BLCA for an India WI T20 last year and the year before that

We have a semi-final on June 26th at BLCA. Not sure if WI will be in that though.

More disorganisation again.

Windies batting a bit slow... 180+ is defendable. If not, they would need to bowl very tight.

180 is a middling score, not too low but not high enough. They are 20+ runs short.

I don't think they can depend solely on boundaries to win them all the games necessary to go all the way to the finals.

The above comment was in the lead up to the 2022 T20 World Cup
WI batted 51 dot balls last night, a staggering 43% of thier total deliveries.

The more things change they more they remain the same!!!!!!

England need 14 from the final over against SA
TBH if WI makes it out of that group they would have done well.

WI clearly do not want to win this game against the USA.

Intent is clearly lacking and bowlers bowling absolute SHRITE!

This group would come down to run rate. Windies need to chase USA's total with overs to spare. However, they are leaking runs atm

Windies win in 10.5 overs, NRR over 1.8. They have to beat SA to advance though.

India put up the Sir Vivian Richards highest T20 score there (for now).

Bangladesh need 197 or they out of the semis after today's game barring a string of results going their way

Pat Cummings with 2 hat tricks in this world cup yes. However, Afghanistan could pull of a victory if they bowl well on this wicket

If we lose this game dot balls is the reason. Men literally wasting half the deliveries. Plenty batsmen still to come so can't understand these tactics.

30 dots in 11 overs... Madness

Safe to say south Africa winning this unless they score 180 plus.

Russell was frustrated that Akeal was keeping him away from facing the strike and went for a very risky single and got run out. That was our last hope to get a decent total.

If WI had made 180 it wouldn't have been enough against this SA batting lineup and our shitty bowling. WI will always need over 250 runs in a T20 game with our bowling.

SA 15/2, and rain. A washout means WI are out.
