I was suggesting to a co worker that enable places like groceries to open 24 hrs and let them split their staff into shifts and limit the amount of people going into these places at a time like how it was last year so the smaller amount of staff can handle the limited people in the establishment. Be open longer and let the population adjust how they do things. This should result in less crowds at daytime and a plus for employers too in that they have their business open for a longer time without having to pay staff any overtime and staff at least have their jobs still.

Last time we had outbreak, cases still peaked up to a month after lockdowns.

So factor in that we're locking down later now with a more contagious Brazilian strain.

I think we'll continue to have 150+ daily cases for the next month.

Wish we had sensible lockdowns, once masks are worn any outdoor activity is very safe, healthy and at least gives ppl a safe alternative to socialize.

they already allowed to be open till 10pm, would ppl be going to the grocery 2 and 3 in the morning? they can have 2 shifts with the current hours.
