A Valsayn businesswoman was one of four people murdered in an afternoon shooting on the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway today.

Sources said Lana Sahadeo was at her Spring Village, Valsayn, home when the shooting began and was struck by a stray bullet.

Guardian Media visited the scene and was told by neighbours that Sahadeo who was in her fifties was the owner of the Silver Spoons Eatery in Akal Trace.

She was expected to leave TT days later to go on a trip to Florida.

Security camera footage of the shooting was circulated on social media which showed a white car crashing into a barrier at the side of the highway.

One of the men who were in the car at the time was shot and killed while the others were chased by gunmen and killed.

The survivor of the attack was a popular Trinibad artiste who survived another shooting in October.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more details come to hand.

Anytime yuh see a Trinibad "artiste" in your vicinity is to get out of the area as soon as possible. Don't take the chance that it might have a shooting right dey and the intended target will get away but you might be one of the bystanders that collect bullet.

I don't think the woman in the video by the windows was the victim. The window didn't appear the be broken and that person didn't seem to be hit.

Won't be sure about the cause of the death until autopsies are done but the decomposing bodies of 2 women were found in a house in Moriah, Tobago a short while ago.

Tobago police are on a scene where two women were found dead in a room in Moriah.
Senior Superintendent Rodhill Kirk told Guardian Media the women were found in an apartment building along the Arnos Vale Road, Woodlands this evening.
He said the scene is being processed, and police can not confirm just yet if foul play is involved in their deaths. - CNC3
