Thanks for info and stats. Surprised to see St Vincy, St Kitts and Bahamas so high up on the list.

Your forecast for the total no. murders at end of 2022 is ~ 605 murders based on an ~ avg of 50 murders per month to October 2022. I agree with this approximation.

The Express wrote an article in Aug which attempts to forecast the murder rates up to 2030. They are suggesting that the total murders at end of 2022 will be 585.

Considering your calculations and the ones done by the Express , Christmas on the horizon, the gang/turf/music industry killings, mother of all Carnivals also on the horizon and the current state of the economy, the total murders may very well reach > 650 by end of 2022. Which takes the avg to > 46. Not a big change but it will surely solidify a second or third spot pon the list you provided, considering the other competing countries maintain their averages. Still not a good look.
