NIB supposed to go bankrupt this year, if i remember correctly. so no money there. but, part of their problem was using their cash to buy a big chunk of the NIF, which culvert invert said was over subscribed.
taking money from the HSF, with nothing being input, and taking from the UTC/nib where u do have ongoing contributions... a difference there.
u have a difference of opinion of where to source that cash from, when ur sources are limited. very debatable.

Good research and points Redman... i think the story behind the drop in production was that revisions to the petroleum profits tax act or the supplemental petroleum profits tax act allowed for tax concessions if energy companies engaged in infrastructural upgrades... so many companies took advantage of that adjustment in the tax act... it is also interesting that the revision in the tax act that brenfited the energy companies was enacted between 2010 and 2015... as stated earlier i believe... i may not be 100 percent right here... if i am wrong i do apologize for any misgivings

I have 852 Contributions which is over the 750 contributions need to get NIB pension . I have being working at age 16.
