You know, all the information that you need, to NOT make silly statements like that, is all on the first page of this very thread.

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=202192

I urge y'all to be VERY careful with the statements you make, as this thread is for public consumption and Trinis lately haven't exactly been demonstrating the highest levels of reasoning and common sense...so they'll run with whatever nonsense you say.

This is the NOAA Atlantic Tropical Weather Discussion. Read it and understand what you're talking about before you post. If you decide that you only want to pick out what's relevant to the Caribbean, it's all correctly sectioned and labeled.

Please familiarize yourself with these tools before making uninformed statements.

On this Sunday evening, the cloudiness and showers associated with a broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles southwest of the Cape Verde Islands are showing some signs of organization. Environmental conditions appear conducive for development of this system during the next few days and a tropical depression could form by midweek while it moves westward.

hope it does too, but
Invest 96L has a fairly large shield of moist air around it, separating it from a large area of dust and dry area further north and west... The National Hurricane Center boosted the odds of development for 96L on Sunday afternoon, with a 50% chance of a tropical depression within 48 hours and a 60% chance in 120 hours. The 0000 GMT Monday update of the Atlantic Genesis Index from RAMMB/CIRA (Colorado State University) shows a 96% chance that 96L will develop into a depression over the next 48 hours and a 99% chance by 120 hours. The main factors behind these high probabilities are converging air at low levels, climatology, and relatively low vertical wind shear.
