Emailgate' investigation is over



After almost seven years the 'Emailgate' investigation is now said to be completed and closed.

At the police press briefing Wednesday, acting Assistant Superintendent Michael Pierre revealed that the Police Service has gathered evidence about the emails sent to certain government members in September 2012.

He says service providers were interrogated as well as the device of one individual who was on the email thread.

ASP Pierre says the Federal Bureau of investigation conducted an investigation to filter out any data and that information was then sent to the TTPS.

Pierre said all evidence found in relation to Emailgate were carefully considered by the officer of director of public prosecutions.

However, the Office of the DPP was not satisfied with the evidence.

In 2013, then Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley presented a series of printed emails to parliament under the cover of privilege.

Rowley will just cite Parliamentary privilege of freedom of speech. But from day 1 it was so obvious that this disgusting character of a man just had a set of lame nonsense typed up on a Microsoft Word document that would appear fake even to a web-surfing shibe doge who never used email before, and started to speechify in Parliament with the intent to destabilize the sitting government of the day by creating a conspiracy of mistrust between the public and the government.

So you think when Mr. Rowley received these documents from whoever, he didn't just look at them and laugh his ass off at how fake they looked? No, but he then hatched that PNM-led scheme of vile lies to the nation and started his campaign of terror, mistrust and persecution against sitting members. The very first indication that this was a ridiculous conspiracy was when Google stated they never had an email address like the one purported in the fake documents, nor can one be created with just 5 characters because of internet and email protocols and rules. That alone should have made the DPP throw away that nonsense. But he persisted. Because political persecution and abusing the legal system to do it is what the PNM is very good at.

Imagine that day, Kamla sitting there and hearing this incredulous, ridiculous nonsense for the first time and wonder wtf wrong with this man. Imagine you have to sit through something like that, being accused in front the entire nation and the world of something so stupid and ridiculous that you just blinking open-mouthed with complete disbelief and shaking your head thinking that this is so stupid, this will just blow over. But no! PNM have their lower than a goldfish's IQ supporters who vehemently believed Rowley, and then the DPP picked up the matter seriously. And even the DPP knew it was so obviously fake, but had to be part of the PNM conspiracy as well, and used the legal system to persecute the Prime Minister and members of cabinet... over a fake email typed up on Microsoft Word.
