Saving means the expenses less than income. But with employers not increasing salaries and costs going up where will you find the money to save?

Better than not having or spending on depreciating assets.

Most places have not increased salaries in the last 5 years as well, hell a few decreased salaries because of covid and never brought it back up to previous levels.

You need to save before you even consider investing. Without a cushion of savings you will always be touching your investments or borrowing when emergencies pop up

Yes but if you don’t ever save and put aside an emergency fund you will keep going into UTC and withdrawing your units for every little emergency.
