^Not bad. You doing the drumming?

Got some songs (most of them incomplete) but too chickensh!t to share with anyone. Was thinking using a drum machine to help get them more completed and hopefully give me the kick in the arse necessary to getting inspired again.

I'm not doing the drumming. Having plugins to use for drums really speeds up the song writing process. Once you have a riff or something , coming up with a chorus/verse/bridge is pretty simple if you know what your doing. Most of the songs I write now is done in under an hour. That piece of a song was just demoing some digital guitar plugins , I thought it sounded pretty beefy , I put a filter for the gap and pulled down the tempo for the outro breakdown. Yeehaw!

From around 2:47, that lil piece building to the drop kinda took me out of the song/vibe. Don't like how it fit with the tune but thas just me. Everything else, I dig.

good. Im thinking the drummer guy could be more infront too in the mix?
Also the first guitar melody...it sounds bassy/or muddy a bit...my opinion...maybe make a have more clarity like the other instrument sound which starts at 40 seconds in?

Honestly I got fed-up with tweaking the mix over and over and over , was hard to get everything to sit properly without clipping. Ended up just releasing it , decently satisfied with the final product. Your tracks sound alot better now , very professional.

Thanks...honestly i love experimentation with sounds. But its just the execution of mixing it all together that breaks me. This time around ...i added compression to each instrument so the kick would not intersect with any instrument much.. Also each of my instruments hadda be sounding good separately to begin with. I also tried adding compression on the vocals against the leads because i wanted the vocals to stand out more.

No synths in that track , all guitar lol. It was really difficult to get things leveled out , it jacked up my blood pressure a bit tbh but its a pretty ambitious track even by my standards. My hope with putting out music is to get more comfortable with recording and song writing. I know my first couple songs will be average , maybe by album 2-3 it'll be rock solid. Really appreciate the feedback y'all
