Yes. You may well want a mRNA booster.timothymcdavid wrote:Ok vaccine efficacy falls with time or with new varient ... rate at which people get their vaccination are falling ... I am wondering when the govt will announce when we can get our third sinopharm, AZ and pfizer and 2nd J&J shot???
Are they still holding onto this false narrative of 70% herd immunity and 2 shots being enough to be called fully vaccinated when basically the rest of the world has moved on from that???
The truth is scary with over half of the hospital patients in Israel being fully vaccinated and a spike of over 1000 new cases per million ... I sincerely doubt over half the population of Trinbago will take up the jab ... So when will we move on from there begging people to make the sensible decision and fully protect as many people as possible cause as of right now those people who are fully vaccinated wont be safe without a third or second shot respectively.

Curious to know why you think the Sinopharm is "rubbish"?

Lease effective, least effective method of inoculation and after a "full" course you need a booster shot of another vaccine? Just take a course of the "booster" vaccine.
I went to the Nagar in the morning. Was like 3rd one in. Went through the process and had the jab within 10 minutes.
They reiterated it was the Johnson & Johnson vaccine I was getting a few times which is good as I didn't have to make sure what I was receiving.
Went home and took a couple of Advil (they advice Panadol but I wasn't about to stop off at a pharmacy with flood waters rising.). Washed them down with some orange juice and a 1000mg Vitamin C tablet. Took a snooze. No adverse effects as yet. Injection point hurt for about 4 or 5 minutes.
I was waiting for a decent vaccine and it's a one dose and done so I say go and get it.

Yea, well your and others 'waiting' may have indirectly caused the death of over 1000+ people since May, you smug, selfish waste of...#.
I hate you, and any other selfish POS that was 'waiting'....

No, blame our/your beloved government who dictated that there was only one vaccine of choice and as good docile Trinis/voters as you undoubtedly are you should just do what they say and shut up, take it and be grateful. Not everyone is so besotted with the PNM that no matter what is dictated they follow blindly.
Exercising my choice as to which vaccine I would prefer to have injected into me and refusing one that many countries refuse to approve for use may seem sacrilegious to the government sycophant.
I ain't saying don't take it. Drink it for all I care but don't act all upset because someone decided to exercise their freewill.
You do know ppl die in Trinidad everyday regardless right putting the blame on others is not solving anything nor does it magically allow them to see your perspective...just sayingFrankChag wrote:DTAC wrote:FrankChag wrote:DTAC wrote:Getting the Janssen vaccine tomorrow. Wrong. So the rest of us don't care about what goes into our bodies? The rest of us don't have to travel?
Idiot.
But we took AZ and Sinopharm to save ourselves and our families, and everyone else, because that's what was available. And now there are smug selfish loathsome fools like you lauding around, "oh look at me... i killed 1000 of my fellow countrymen, but it was worth the wait..."
Whether you want to admit it or not, some of those 1000+ deaths, even in a small way, are on you and pos people like you.
And, for the record, I don't vote, nor do I follow-up on or even care about Trinidad politics or personalities.
