This is the level of care these people have for this country. They've been running Trinidad and Tobago as a corporation where only the top is well taken care of and the average workers get enough to just get by. But the mites can't see pass their syndrome and will support them even it means to their own detriment, not so joe , elite auto, mero, and wing....am I wrong?

Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar, who previously described salary increases for parliamentarians as “obscene,” says she has no choice but to accept the pay hike because of the Government’s decision.

For more: https://www.guardian.co.tt/news/kamla-i ... .04f2b4208

Just posting this here for the dumb conts like mero who asked why kamla didn't refuse such now I want mero to answer what has Rowley done to justify his one million dollar backpay

Imagine this is the year politicians supposed to be working their hardest you seeing any change in their behaviour? They so brazen or comfortable that in an election year they increased their own salaries by substantial amounts with total disregard for the average man

That is why I call pnm ppl masochist. Imagine they would be happy to pay more for gas , pay more utilities, pay property tax , a higher retirement age and we accept such with a smile because PNM in power
