sq competitions and displays are usually done in the morning period before the show venue gets too loud

most of the loud playing vehicles don't show up till after 3 in the afternoon

most of the target market coming to a car show is in the afternoon and they are not interested in sq

the sq market is small and some will attend while others will go directly to the shops and do their own research looking for internet reviews and articles from other buyers of the equipment

the "crowd pleaser" market wants to hear it themselves rather than read a writeup from some foreigner

they want to see the OOOH GOOOOOOOD reaction from everyone else as well

2 different types of mentality for 2 different types of car audio

and most are not interested in both

sunday night there was a 1 ton flat bed with dj scoops and line arrays but all powered by car audio amplifiers............came to compete in the open class where anything goes and got disqualified after his second tune due to profanity.....they weren't pleased

Friend of mine did an install by a reputable shop. When I was checking it out, I noticed there were no fuses....anywhere! He said the installers told him what I quoted above. Recommended him to DK...been a loyal customer for 5 yrs now.
