fellas allyuh forgetting zod's solar tower.

zod set all luthorcorp satellite to block all the earth's to block the yellow sun trap it's rays and direct it at the solar tower.

so in essence....only those who go into the tower could "charge up" and absorb all the rays dem want an get powers.

that is why it off limits to everyone....tower goes offline red sun turns yellow then clark get charge up

clark on the other hand- never get to the tower so he loose he power when the yellow sun gone.

they devise something to block the sun yellow radiation - so as to block all other kryptonian from absorbing stray radiation from the yellow sun.

but my thing is when clark nah charged up by the yellow sun he normal..we know this but when he normal is kryptonite STILL deadly to him when he doesnt have powers ???

according to the episode gone apparently not..cus when the other powercharged kryptonians got shot by the kryptonite arrows and stabbed by the knives..clark didnt flinch
