The concept of god is definitely one of the best and most profitable businesses the world has ever and will ever see....yuh cyar be vex because smart people in this world find a way to control/make money off stupid people.....they get the money and most importantly they get the power of mind control...and just to top it off we'll write a mind control manual call it a *insert religious book* and fill it with stories which these followers will live their lives by and quote whenever they are questioned by rational thinking individuals......priceless business model....money and power to eternity.
I say go for it yes....when yuh find horse to ride ride dem till they dead(an tell dem they go reincarnate as black beauty).

I was in a serious accident at age 5, the amount of blood my mom and I lost, it's a miracle we are alive today.

Also came very to accidents, and being killed by an attepmted robbery...i does always feel a force protecting me.

yunno ,, my parents always said 'never get into any convo about religion, politics, and west indies cricket' but ah feel ah go take a bite..

after all has been said and done in 9 pages we will still be going round and round in this timeless circular argument..

Believers do, well just that ----believe. sometimes with not even a good reason to, they just believe. More logical minds dont work quite like that and thus need proof. which is indeed correct if you base what you know to be real on hard empirical evidence. This is sure to continue since religion's mainstay is based on emotion.... but i wonder how effective it is,,, if it preaches the good virtues of loyal dedication on one hand and hits you with a dose of fear of the lord's 'mighty wrath' with the other?... Ironic aint it.?

Personally..... its been driven in my head from as far back as i remember . LOGIC BEFORE EMOTION. Grandfather said it to my uncles and father, and passed also to me. Didnt see its relevance though till after i passed thru my rebellious teen years.... Only then it began to gel together.. Then i saw that if you take a step back, take a breath and THINK before u act, it would help u to make the best decisions with your own brain. Emotion compels the 'humanity' in one to do the most idiotic things. Emotion drives love, hate, fear, happiness etc, etc, etc, all that we have been taught that makes us so 'human' Logic however does not take away from your 'humanity' as it were, but helps u to stay away from reckless, impetuous thoughts that grow into bad decisions......many of which have ill consequences...You dont really have to burn to learn.

But look a little closer..I wouldnt call it divine intervention when you walk out of a weird accident without a scratch : I'd sum it up as " Good friggin thing i did change dem tyres, brakes and suspension parts last week otherwise ah woulda skid dey fuh sure.. and is a good thing i wasnt drinkin on dat lime so mih reflexes not dull.... (yes bluefete ah talkin to u here) ... reflex action in humans has been studied scientifically... so that pretty much explains how almost instinctively the body can react in an almost split second to propel u to the left of the car.... Not the divine hand of the lord..... that was just your brain reacting quickly and sending data to your muscles...

Likewise there are a great many thing science has yet to cough up hard data on.... Then are we left with religion to fill that void? Why can we just say that we dont know yet? Or we just dont know. I dont feel that man on a whole has reached the level where he understands his role and function in the scheme of things...Or rather is man phobic about the reality of his insignificance in the vast universe? Practically... our sun could go supernova tomorrow and the Great Architect might not even hear it nor care...Who are we to assume that the creator exists solely to babysit us and be Dr. Phil to 6+ billion crybabies.... How about we get up and get... dont u know... The meek inherit nothing...
