IMO finale was perfect. It was like a Graduation you sad and happy at the same time and you could always go back to the school and visit but you have no new classes

Finale was indeed just the way it should be. Great directing and editing in particular for the last episode.

Justice was served, Jesse got his against Todd, Walt got his against pretty much everyone including his sobriquet Heisenberg. Skyler, Marie and the mourning police dept will all have some form of closure now. Walt Jr (Flynn) will have money shortly thanks to the generous contribution Gretchen and Elliott were coaxed into giving.

Satisfying is the one word for me to sum up the series.

Especially after Dexter failed to deliver.

I guess Walt's death was similar to Mikes as well. Both got shot and walked to something peaceful/pleasant to them. Dying on their own terms.

Like I wasn't the only one had to download and take it een a day late. Had to stay off Tuner and G+ for the day to be spoiler free.

All in all I think it was a satisfying ending. Loose ends tied up and Walt finally got the balls to come clean to Skylar instead of the "I did it for the family" BS.

Sorry to see Todd die but glad Jesse got some kind or revenge for what he was put through. And lol@ his Lydia ringtone. A socio/psychopath with a crush is a cruel joke of nature.

Not at all disappointed. Much better ending than lumberjack Dexter. Steups.

Better finale than Lost

But who said Walt is dead? When men pocket get empty you see how he was revived.

Killing Jack like Jack killed Hank. So good.I like how that scene made the money irrelevant to anything further.Hank was mid-sentence telling Jack to shoot him. Jack was mid-sentence begging for his life like a coward.

"I like your.....shirt"
"It's like... Kinda.... Cornflower"
Classic Todd

I think Jesse and Walt forgave each other as much as they possibly could. That head nod at the end said that everything was just over. Not ok, not that they loved each other, but that they understood that either one could have killed the other with due cause, but would not. They were just done.

Vince Gilligan Reveals 5 Alternate ‘Breaking Bad’ Endings

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan shared five alternate endings to the hit show during the Breaking Bad Insider Podcast on Tuesday. Here’s how he said the Sunday’s finale could have ended.

1. Walter White Turns Rambo

“Our original version was that Walt would use [the machine gun] somewhat in Rambo fashion. … [But] that felt wrong for Walt to go out brawn over brain, go out like Rambo. Walt on his best day was never Rambo.”

2. Walter White Turns Cop-Killer

“We thought, gee, is it too obvious he’d use [the machine gun] on a bunch of bad guys? … So we had versions that we talked about for instance where the police come and get him. He uses it on the police. But we didn’t like that. It just didn’t seem right.”

3. Walter White Turns Jail-Breaker

“We had a version where he goes and break Jesse out of jail just as the Nazis were gonna knock Jesse off in jail, and he comes in an uses the M60 to lay waste to an entire prison or prison bus.”

4. Skyler White Turns Suicidal

“I was leaning toward that and the other writers were like, that’s a bridge too far. … We talked about a possible version where Skyler and Walt are tied up at a Motel 6 kind of place and he’s talking to her in a bathroom saying, ‘It’s going to be alright. … I’ve got a plan. Skyler? Skyler?’ And he finally forced the door ope and she’s in a bloody tub or something like that.”

5. Jesse Dies, Then Walt Jr. Dies

Gilligan toyed with this idea before even filming the first season: Basically, Jesse is killed by a drug dealer and to get revenge, Walter shackles the drug dealer in a basement and tortures him. Walt sets up a shotgun trip wire in the hopes that the drug dealer will kill himself. Walter Jr. finds the drug dealer and tries to give him water, and the drug dealer uses the tripwire to kill them both.
