either way is either someone brought it in through illegal entry or there was spread while someone on home quarantine after coming from abroad, in which case we should revert to 14 day state quarantine

I agree quite likely it could be a Venezuelan or a Trini that interacted with a Venezuelan illegally across the border, but it very well could be ppl who were quarantined but whose viral load was too low to detect the virus during the test only to have it flare up afterwards.

If I am not mistaken, to determine if someone is covid19 positive they must present themselves to a health facility with symptoms and migrants may be less likely to do same especially if illegal.
The reality is that covid19 is here and given the levels of mobility of our population and how small a physical space we coexist in, no where is 'safe'.
Vaccine impact is a long way off based on the availability statistics and the state machinery is running out of steam and money.
As fed-up and tired as we all may be, its going to be up to every individual citizen to do the right things and be ready for some really emotionally harsh results and pain over the next few weeks.
If we can impact the present momentum and start bending the numbers down before the rainy season and our traditional flu season this would be fantastic.
We must also not forget to continue to help our neighbors who may be having grave difficulty feeding their families and are stuck in a real sense of doom.

ALL MPs should be tested for the COVID .

Smiley was fine but after taking the vaccine and as a person with heart disease - he was up one day and dead another .

We have not reached that level of community spread but it is getting there

Anyone know any contact numbers for health officials regarding this covid situation, an employee tested positive in my workplace today and the employer is unwilling to allow staff to quarantine...this is a Government office
