Digicel blocks all non digicel handsets from activating a 4g plan. Call telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and file a complaint 800-TATT

I know I'm doing the same. There's a way to do it. But there are blocking handsets not bought from them. This is confirmed from multiple people. Bmobile has no such restrictions

Told you weeks now to send me the IMEI. Instead, calls TATT.

Is the apn entered, you have to manually enter the apn on non-Digicel handsets

The only thing now is to take the sim and use it in another phone to see if data is activated on the sim. If it is, the problem is your phone and not the network. Sorry

Nope, doesn't work like that. What the rep may have meant "as far as we know our phones work on our network" seeing you bought your phone elsewhere they won't touch it. But it doesn't mean it won't work on the network.

Once data is activated on the sim, you are supposed to get on your phone once the settings are correct unless you are trying to use a blackberry plan.

Never bought a phone from Digicel, had 4G from the first day with three different devices, S2, S3 and Nexus 4, when I get the Nexus 5, I'll report back if I encounter any issues

Um. What? So... you just take the bs story they hit you and didn't tell them to check their FAQ online that states otherwise...
http://4g.digiceltt.com/en/faqs

AFAIK there is nothing stating what is being stated ITT. AFAIK also you can use the MyDigicel app to and bundle on plans. Try doing so. Their 4G postpaid plans are much more affordable than prepaid though so you should be looking at that.

Same here, so I fail to see how the could block no Digicel devices

Not true, otherwise they would not stock nano sims.
They are not an iPhone dealer.

They're not obligated to troubleshoot issues with handsets they do not sell.
Try isolating the problem to the carrier by putting in a Bmobile sim.

yes you can , but there is usually a digicel wifi signal at most of these bzones and they are usually faster.

well I not too long ago was on with 8248788 and the tech insisted that I had to have a bmobile cellphone to access the bzone....according to the bzone info, once I'm a blink broadband customer then I can access bzone, I just need to get the username/password e-mailed to me, which I am unable to get......BUT she say I could use laptop with the bzone....I gave up trying to tell her that I still need to get the username and password for me to be able to access the bzone....and that they not sending me the e-mail with that.....

They can get that info for you, they just have to verify that you are the owner of the email account & bzone account. If you are unable to access your email, call blink and request a password reset or assistance if it is not a password issue.
