Serious question what was the crowd like in the surrounding plaza itself and the carpark was that too also busy/filled or were things/activities isolated to the restaurant?

Those who have lost jobs and still living large probably have money...in savings. When that is spent reality will hit them hard.

Others presumably are teachers or have "safe" permanent Government jobs. Dem so could coast because even those on the breadline will be financing public servants' lifestyles every time they pay VAT, property tax etc. ... :|

trinis have a different set of priorities.

temp men take big loan to buy Hyundai suv and post up on the 'gram "blessed' & "life is good"
i mean is their money and they could do what they want. but given the situation, my priorities would have been different.

I agree too. After now being back out to work after almost a year home I have cut my expenses down drastically and whatever could be saved would be and also looking for something on the side whenever I get to be home helps out

Same here-my hard times showed (showing) me how much I can do without, how much I wasted on things I thought I 'needed'

now-I feel like a fool while thinking of some of the choices made.

do over...I wasnt ready, lol

Try selling house wares or such, not clothes tend to go out of style and you may have dead stock, small utilitarian things....

If you live in a safe area consider bar and/or grill, food and food prep is big these days, also these are things that can be opened after 5-6pm in the day allowing you to work a steady job and then come home and run it.

It have no safe area in Trinidad anymore.

Keep an eye out. ipsl might have vacancies if juniper have enough gas to give them methanol plants. Who knows, they might want to start them back up.
