Guyana looked so hapless last night in those final few overs when they were taken to the cleaners by Brooks and Wasim. Actually just hoped for Jamaica's innings to be completed to save GAW further embarrassment.

Pollard could be an arse sometimes but one thing he knew was how to be a captain. Hetmeyer looked out of depth repeatedly throughout this CPL and only even poorer cricket by other teams allowed them to reach as far.

What was comical about the run=out was how far down the pitch Ms Dean was and the Indian bowler (to me at least) looked confused about what was happening before she removed the bails.
A non striker backing up like Ms Dean did would have been way pass the point of 'no return'.
To make matters worse the non striker didn't even have 1/2 an eye on the bowler and therefor couldn't make any real effort to return to the crease.

Notice the run out is a Mankad but the extra runs Stokes stole are overthrows

Serious double speak with the English.

So I saw someone write about Hettie in Guyana.
They say every time he has indicated he has a personal issue its his wife.
She is very manipulative and controlling and basically refuses to let him tour or play in a league without her physically being there. WICB has placed a no wives or GFs policy for the 2022 T20 WC and she basically threw a tantrum and he was trying to solve it.

They also indicated she was his school teacher and basically groomed him from school days.

Heard the wifey could not get a visa to go Australia so Hettie hadda stay home.

But bad decision by board to keep WAGS away.

With that batting display, I not even sure if windies could qualify to play in the world cup

This right here is why I don't watch CPL. Look at these same players lighting up the CPL with scoring a set of runs and getting a bunch of wickets and all of a sudden playing against an international team they sheit on their tail. They only good at beating up each other in domestic competitions but can't do anything else.

WI didn't throw away the game, those 2 drop catches back to back had they taken them there were still other batsmen to come, it's not like 9 wickets was down and they needed that last wicket, it also AUS so those tailenders to come would've finished off those runs. Allya beating up allya selves too much over WI, this whole match from what little I saw AUS didn't even look like they were playing at their full true potential so WI probably got away from a true beating in classical style due to AUS working out and practicing with their team for the world cup.
