Heard CAL staff and their travel buddies having a grand time. Almost all flights you guaranteed a seat when normally they have to be on standby particularly the NA routes

What's the number to call and protocol to follow if someone has symptoms? A relative of a co worker has some symptoms, but could be the flu, but they want to test and be sure. The relative has self quarantined but the family is trying to get a test done.

They called the supposed hotline number and were told "We are not a hotline" by whoever answered.
They went to a health centre and were told they don't have equipment.

society cant shut down completely, people still need food, current, water, construction, legal issues etc. so, u have to come to a intermediary piont of isolation, insulation, decontamination and industry.

If it reach to lockdown , how people going to survive? Some people don't have extra money and live day to day. That could be a recipe for robberies ,looting and other crimes ?

that still not gonna solve the food problem, and salary problem. it just puts the poor's back to the wall.

but, this isnt an extinction level event. it doesnt have as high as a mortality as the numbers make it look, cause we dont get an accurate count of all who gets it, as compared to who dies from it.
but, it will take a toll on older persons and immuno compromised persons. those populations will take a big hit.

so, NIS might not go bankrupt this year after all.

^They eh handle things properly i.e. extremely poor communication with the public.

Watch and you will see the dissonance between the "Government is in control" gum-flapping Deyalsingh, the rest of his cohorts and the medical staff on the ground. Hopefully they will get things sorted out before too much damage is done.

fact: we have about 177,000 ppl with diabetes alone in T&T (diabetes weakens the immune system)- to say nothing about the elderly and other conditions

the death rate could be higher for us

the school directly related to the patient (he has a child there) should be closed for 2 weeks- all others are low risk right now soi doh know the rational behind this- other countries did it for community spread transmission.

unless of course they lose track of all potential contacts and community transmission happening already

what about the Alberta case- dey forget that already?

Doesn't the Maple Leaf School have a staff member whose spouse was a crew on the CAL Guyana flight. That seems higher than low risk

Stream gone down. Say what you want about Trump and his Administration, they have a way about reassuring the public. Most of the political fighting seems to have died down too, plenty Democrats on board to fight this thing.

Given the increase in numbers over the last 24 hours the UK may be added to the ban soon...:|

yes by next week we will start recording deaths.
Well RIP to any tuners who "take een", especially the old timers.
If i dead of covid-19 my only wish is that RedVEVO gets fetid, leaking diarrhea in a maxi on the day when he goes to take his next Prisons Officer entrance exam. And someone posts it on instagram.

What's extremely important as well is ICU units, which we are already on short supply.
