Did arms & calves yesterday...exercises were good but the workout didn't feel complete.
Going to do a full body high rep today to finish this high volume week...squats, pullups, dips, shoulder press, maybe some pushups.

Never understood why people have a separate day for arms. They get so worked doing chest and back that on chest days I do triceps one time and biceps on back day. And call that george for the week.

If you do lots of variations of lots of pullups, you really don't need to do separate bicep and forearm work imo. They have repeatedly been shown to be the best workout for biceps and back.

My triceps do need direct work though.

sure, if I was on roids too then I'd have the recovery needed for an arm day but if you're natty then u just overworking them

That aside CT Fletcher has some sick biceps.

who on roids? CT? ....he alternates tri's/bi's everyday so it speaks for itself. similar to tom platz who targeted quads everyday!!! but then again, them on hard drugs so....meh.

anyhow,
when i do chest/back (mon/tue), , i do one basic compound movement for the bi/tri and on friday, i do lighter sets with about 3 exercises per arm muscle. working so far!

Morning folks,

Can anybody recc an app for tracking running /walking
I use run keeper but i think its distance measurements are not consistent.
Just came back from an abbreviated set and the first km mark is different from the other 1km marks.

Great thread by the way.

Back to the regularly scheduled programme tomorrow.

shogun, pullups is the rel thing. If I had to chose only two exercises to be done in my workouts for the rest of my life, it would be squats and weighted pullups.
A nice home workout would be dips, pullups, walking lunges, step ups after a little warmup run.
Not much equipment needed either.

Playing hero to overturn a full 56 gallon pool (about 400lbs). Lifted with my legs up to my waist then shifted my grip like a big fat meow.

Eh wreck it too bad, but off the weights again for a couple weeks. gonna overload on cardio.

Buy a good pan to sautee the meat in. I use a non-stick pan with olive oil everyday.

Don't waste time with any shortcut cooking methods.
You won't regret cooking for yourself.
