From FB - RBL got into the donation drive:
Together we can achieve! In response to many heart-breaking stories and images in our newsfeeds, we have, with several partners, begun our support efforts. We wish to thank our friends F.E.E.L. (Foundation for the Enhancement & Enrichment of Life) and Blue Waters for their positive response to our request for assistance in our efforts to deliver aid to affected communities. The Boomerang Caterers team of Michael, Nigel, Raymond and Kebah, who selflessly worked to prepare 1000 meals today, have inspired us and given us hope! To the men and women who came out today to help ensure that the trucks provided by the Regional Corporation were loaded with supplies - we extend our deepest gratitude. Our brothers and sisters are in need, will you #betheONE to join us and lend a hand?

Sorento

The road alongside heartland plaza. Came out munroe road then highway. Water was insane but it’s going down. Kinda scary seeing the damage that’s been done and the amount of people affected

Just came from the highway. South bound still flooded , unpassable unless you have a dinghy or something. Northbound still under water but shouldn't be an issue for a 4x4. It have wreckers taking you across the flood water for $$$. Some people with regular vehicles , don't wanna pay the $$$ so they waiting for the water to subside , not sure how long that'll be. Really unfortunate people still stranded there.

Got up this morning and saw a strange van across the street. The driver apparently decided not to fight up with the hi-way situation so he just looked for somewhere safe and hunkered down for the night.

He now head out to try his luck again. Is pressure fuh people yes...:|

Are there any alternative routes to get around the highway floods?
Or is North to South completely cut off?

The old southern main road dry between Curepe and Chaguanas?
