What’s the estimated timing in getting a foreign used vehicle registered these days ?

We got a vehicle registered and ready for collection in 4 working days. We got the quote on a Monday morning and had certified cheque ready for dealer by mid-day. Vehicle was ready and waiting for collection on the Friday of the same week but it rained heavily that day so we postponed delivery for Saturday when the roads got dry. I think that’s a record! Dealer said they sent the vehicle to Caroni for registration which probably explains the short time.
